This is what retirement looks like...

Lemme tell ya about my first meet and greet.

Kane here, and I went to my first meet and greet last Saturday at 100 Oaks. I started off by going up to Rob (who was hosting the meet and greet). He was sitting down, and I knew he wanted a hug, plus I was so excited to meet him! So, I went right up to him and introduced myself by attempting to get in his lap. Then, I met some really nice people and got lots of pets and hugs. Then, the store manager at Petsmart, Doug, came out to meet me. He told me he knew my brother. In fact, he told me my brother lives with him! Can you believe that? I couldn't believe my ears. I came all this way an didn't know a soul and it turns out my brother lives here too! Then, Doug took me in the store to "show me off." And while we were in there, he treated me to a new Shamu stuffie, man I couldn't believe my luck. He sure is a nice man. He said he'd even bring my brother to the meet and greet next week so we can have a family reunion. I can't wait, I can't remember when I last saw him. I had my foster mom take a few pics of me playing with my new toy, I love it. I love to squeak it all the time.

First week update

Kane has really been doing well his first week in Nashville. He has taken to house living very quickly and with ease. He likes spending time laying in or right beside his crate. He eats well and stairs are a breeze. He is not a barker or whiner. He comes when called and is easily correctable. He loves picking up stuffies and carrying them around. Yesterday, he brought one back inside after another pup took it outside to play with. He is getting along very well with the resident greys. He is one of the easiest foster dogs I've had. It's like he just knew what to do when he walked in the door. He is very friendly, sweet, and affectionate. Such a good boy and just a bit of a goofball. Here are a few pictures.
